My Summer Vacation = 1 week

Yes, ONE WEEK. I made the most of it though, that's for sure. Seems like I was constantly doing something, going from one thing to another. I had to fit in as much as possible in just one week. I had a lot of things on my list. As proof here's what I got to do:

Hike Ensign Peak w/ Elise & Erik
See friends at Millrace (where I used to live)
Help Elise & Erik glean goodies from their garden
Outdoor concert w/ Elise & Erik - big band music
Lots of time at the pool
Mtn. biking, shave ice, and dinner w/ Allison
Bees game w/ Jordan
Lunch w/ Beth and her fiance Jonathan
Boating w/ Allison, Amy, and Stew
Chat and visit w/ everyone at Maeser - the school where I used to teach
Ice cream w/ Danielle and Abbey
Basketball with the wardies
Mtn. biking again
Lunch w/ Xaviera
Shooting (hand gun, rifle, shot gun) with Lane
Bridal Veil Falls & Squaw Peak w/ Elise
Beth & Jonathon's wedding in Manti & reception w/ Allison & Erin
Attempt at going to Spanish Fork Res (dang lightning!)
Movie The Help w/ Allison

I did lots and got to see lots of good friends and family. The only things I didn't get to do that I really wanted to where the Sundance Moonlight Ski Lift Ride, Spanish Fork Res, Stewart Falls. Next time! I didn't get pictures from everything, but here's a few. All the pictures from the end of my trip are lost forever. My camera card decided to stop working and it'll take $250 to get them back. Sorry, not worth it.....

Portland Day 28 - BLUE SKIES

Today was glorious, an absolute gorgeous day. The whole sky was blue all day. That hasn't happened once since I've been here. I got a few hours of study in at Summerlake Park after school..... I just had to be outside. I'm still feeling way overwhelmed...... There's just not enough time for everything I need to study and learn. Help!

I love summer!

And yet, sadly it's over. I went back to work this last week and school starts on Tuesday. I'm excited to see my kids (ahem, students) this week though. Here's what I've been up to most recently after all my world travels. Summer is so much fun!

Starting in the top left corner....girls night out at Comedy Sportz, puppet making and entertaining for FHE, riding a Segway for the first time!, delicious snow cones, eating out at Red Robin (I don't know if you can tell but there are about 50 or so of us), Orem Owlz baseball game. Oh, and there's still more adventures to come!

R-O-D-AY-O

I'd never been to a rodeo before in my whole life. Man was I missing out! Well, I went to THREE this summer. How's that for an introduction?! They are pretty entertaining and exciting, that's for sure.

We got rained out at the first one in Lehi.....but they had some suh-weet motocross!!

Spanish Fark (Fork) had a pretty good one too. We even got a picture with the rodeo clowns afterwards. Rock on!

I LOVE my seesters

This summer I got to hang out with my sisters TONS. I even got to live with Lisi and it was super fun to both have the same summer schedule. We did lots and you can see how much fun we had. They are my best friends and we all bring out the best in each other....or maybe the goofiest in each other!
