have you read 'hunger games' yet? its a series. the second one is called 'catching fire' and the third comes out in august. definitely awesome books. i also read 'book thief' recently and enjoyed it. (sorry i don't have authors....i'm too lazy to look them up)
AWESOME!!! I can't wait to hear all about your adventures!
I am so jealous of your summer plans! If you're in OK visiting, y'all should swing down to Houston and say hi!
Your book list is hard core! Suite Francais is another recommendation. On my list this summer is the classic North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. I'm also with your friend and her recommendations (Hunger Games--awesome; Book Thief--haven't finished it, but it's amazing so far). After reading Kite Runner you WILL be traumatized and will need something light, so I recommend Austenland by Shannon Hale. Chick lit at its finest!
