I love reading, no doubt about it. I read some GOOD books this summer, not too many novels but great books. My goal for the summer was 10 books and I fell short by one. Ah man, only 9 books?! That's still pretty incredible I must say. There's still so many more I want to read, but it'll have to wait till next summer. Here's my list (in the order read) and I recommend them ALL to you. although here's my star rating system. 5 *'s = must read. Let me know if you want to know the author.

I'd never been to a rodeo before in my whole life. Man was I missing out! Well, I went to THREE this summer. How's that for an introduction?! They are pretty entertaining and exciting, that's for sure.

We got rained out at the first one in Lehi.....but they had some suh-weet motocross!!

Spanish Fark (Fork) had a pretty good one too. We even got a picture with the rodeo clowns afterwards. Rock on!

I LOVE my seesters

This summer I got to hang out with my sisters TONS. I even got to live with Lisi and it was super fun to both have the same summer schedule. We did lots and you can see how much fun we had. They are my best friends and we all bring out the best in each other....or maybe the goofiest in each other!

Basketball with the Bros

As many of you know, I LOVE basketball. In the ward I'm currently in we play basketball every Monday night 9pm - 12 am. The majority of ward members that play are guys, with a few girls as the exception. It started out light and fun, but man, these guys are competitive....and good! I fit in pretty good and give 'em a good game. I don't think I would have been able to do so without the other girls there as my backup. Well, pretty soon it turned into something more like this:

I was the only girl playing basketball with a bunch of guys. For weeks and weeks. I'd already made a name for myself and I had to keep it up! I get to show up these guys all the time. It's pretty rad. They know I can make it so they keep the ball comin' to me. And I sadly say the only because another girl has started coming now......

It can get pretty rough though. If someone doesn't get hurt, it's a miracle....really. I got my eye gouged just the other night, I've broken my nose, injured my back, gotten one to many bruises, well you get the idea..... Don't worry, it's not as bad as it sounds - I dish it right back. Haha! We have a lot of fun though. If not, I wouldn't keep going as the only girl there.
