Well here it is! I was in Spain at the time I found out there was going to be a new temple in my hometown for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was shocked! The Gila Valley (Thatcher, Safford, Pima) is such a small community but we are ready for it! For those of you who know the area, the temple will be built where the ball fields currently are. At first I felt bad for the ball fields, but they don't even compare! The South fields will stay there however. Work begins in January to begin building it. I'm so excited!

Wow thats cool I hadn't heard where it was going to be built. Funny thing is that is where I thought it would be because right after they announced it I went back to Safford and as we were driving past the ballfields there were men walking around by the railroad tracks right out front of the ballfields dressed in shirts and ties. I thought that was funny. When does men dressed liked that walk around there. I knew it was going to be there! Lol
